Hiscox 3D Illustration

The concept of this project was to be simple. Hiscox Insurance wanted a “airfix” type airplane look modelled to a set of objects that represent their company. Their goal was to use this work throughout their end of year company report so required a clean “plastic” look.

 

 

The object requirements also needed to look “moulded” as well as plastic so soft edges and tapered seams were created. This can be seen if you look closely at one of the joins where the plastic rims blend into each other.

Another option considered during the project was to use a more “scuffed” plastic look, however the clean look was favoured overall.
