A proof of concept video for the Acer Aspire Switch 10e. Highlighting the key USPs of the product and showcasing them in a fun and lively 3D video.
The proof of concept was to see how quickly this could be achieved on a tight timeline. I wanted to see what the new (at the time) rendering engine called Octane could do.
I wanted to push the boundaries a little as well my comfort zone and in a little, under a week all the shots were animated and rendered on single GPU workstation.
Needless to say the renders were fast and this high density mesh was no trouble for 3 years old workstation.
Things are very different now of course with Redshift being the main rendering engine used by Fire Flash. For more information please refer to the social link at the top of the site
