We were commissioned by Tefal to create an infomercial for Fresh Express, which was the new product at the time. A motorised grating / slicing machine.
We decided to shoot this one using DSLR’s (60d and 7D) with a 70 – 200mm lens L series and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens.

Coming up with the treatment wasn’t too difficult. just focusing on the main USP’s of the product (in this case the different cones) and what each of them could do. Namely going through all the cones and their features (what you could do with them)

The shoot basically consisted of setting up the cones along the front of the product with the bowl of the created produce in front of it.

As is always the case some of the treatment was discussed and amended with the client on the shoot.

Collaborative, sometimes it takes more than 2 people.

We used a kino flow and several dedo lights and few red heads for all the lighting. Matching warmth of the red heads and the kino was tough. We loved the soft look of the Kino on the models face.

The variation on the shoot was to include some shots of a companion product (Tefal Actifry) . Overall a successful shoot within budget and timings.
